Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He is a major player in his part of the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song for the year 2017. In Medellin in 2017, Sony's La Industria Inc. released ADN the debut album of his long-playing career. The album reached the top of the charts at number eight places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel for Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina that year. He appeared later in 2021 as a duo with TINI on her streaming hit song Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo is a product of a household of music his mother and older brother are both musicians. According to him, musicality was a mandatory element of his existence. In his childhood he was instructed to perform on the guitar, piano as well as the ukulele. Though his original career plan was to be a veterinarian for animals, his brother Julian encouraged him to start taking singing lessons from a Cuban. This revolutionized his entire life.
