Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. His career began with roles in television series, such as in Opposite Sex in the year 2000. Following his appearance in a variety of teenage films, like Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he became known for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch. Evans has appeared in numerous films that adapted graphic novels and comics, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and the World vs. the World (2009) and Snowpiercer (2013). Evans gained more attention for his portrayal of Steve Rogers / Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War as well as the ensemble film The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). Because of his Marvel films, he grew to become one the most highly-paid actors on the planet.
