Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress best known for the films Beta Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. The actress was initially famous for her role in Tezaab from the 1980s and Tezaab, which she co-starred along with the veteran actor Anil Koopor. In her next film Dil, Aamir Khan appeared with her. As a young child growing up in the middle class of Mumbai, she learned to dance. In her early years, as she began to act as a child actress, most films that she made were not successful. In the end, she was one of the most famous actresses in Indian film. After her marriage the actress took time away from performing before returning. Recently, she was a key player in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggle of Indian women. Dixit won eight Filmfare Awards out of the 15 she was up for nominations. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian prize given to civilians in India is bestowed to her. Also, she has earned a name for social activism.
